You choose when to send.

Choosing a file and playing it happen in your browser. Rank transcripts sends your audio and supplied text to the comparison service over encrypted connections. The optional Transcribe & rank demo also sends audio to the transcription services you select.

Processed for your request.

The application does not save your audio or transcripts to a research dataset or log their content. The synchronous ranking endpoint does not persist audio, transcripts or results in application content storage. The optional automatic demo encrypts audio and transcripts in temporary storage for background processing and ranking retries. Access expires after 24 hours; storage cleanup follows automatically. Providers may retain data under their own policies.

Automatic-demo results are available to the submitting visitor or signed-in account for up to 24 hours. Synchronous ranking results are returned directly and are not resumable after a reload. Copying JSON saves it to your clipboard only when you choose to copy.

A shared preview.

Provider availability and response times vary. Canceling an automatic-demo job releases its reserved allowance; processing already submitted may finish. Stopping a synchronous ranking request only stops waiting in the browser; submitted work may finish and consume allowance.

Bessel stores verified email accounts, protected password hashes and usage receipts to provide sign-in and free allowances. Essential session storage keeps you signed in in this tab. A protected network identifier limits anonymous use; restarting a browser does not reset the allowance. Account and usage records remain as needed to operate the service.
